Privacy Policy — Raised in Faith
Effective date: July 9, 2026
Raised in Faith ("the app", "we", "us") is a Christian games app for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. It is built for children, so it is built to collect nothing. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what the app does and does not do with information.
The short version for parents
We do not collect any personal information — from your child or from you.
The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Everything your child does in the app (stars earned, pictures colored, sanctuary friends, settings) is saved only on your device. It never leaves it.
The app does not connect to the internet to play. All artwork, voice narration, sound, and music are bundled inside the app.
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your name, email, or payment details.
Purchase screens sit behind a parent gate designed so young children cannot reach them by tapping around.
The app requests no device permissions — no camera, no microphone, no location, no contacts, no photos.
What information the app collects
None. The app does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or personally identifiable data from anyone — child or adult. Specifically, the app has:
no user accounts or profiles;
no advertising and no advertising identifiers;
no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs;
no social features, chat, or external links accessible to children;
no camera, microphone, location, or contact access;
no push notifications.
Information stored on your device only
To remember progress between play sessions, the app saves gameplay data locally on your device using the device's app storage. This includes things like stars earned in games, coloring-page progress, sanctuary friends and their accessories, daily streaks, and the voice/sound settings a parent chooses.
This data:
stays on the device — it is never uploaded anywhere;
contains no personal information (no names, no photos, nothing typed by a child — the app has no text entry at all);
can be erased at any time from the app's parent settings ("reset progress") or by uninstalling the app.
Purchases and subscriptions
The app offers an optional premium subscription that unlocks additional games. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store / StoreKit) on iOS and Google (Google Play Billing) on Android:
Payment is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. We do not receive or store your name, email address, or payment information.
The only thing recorded on the device is whether the subscription is active, so the app knows which games to unlock.
All purchase and restore flows are placed behind a parent gate intended for adults.
You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Children's privacy (COPPA and similar laws)
The app is designed for children under 13 (indeed, mostly under 5) and is built to comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR (including its provisions for children), and similar laws — in the simplest possible way: the app collects no personal information from anyone. Because no data is collected, none is disclosed to third parties, used for advertising, or "sold" as defined by the CCPA or any similar statute.
Text-to-speech
Narration and scripture readings use professionally recorded audio bundled inside the app. On rare occasions where a recording is unavailable, the app uses your device's built-in text-to-speech voice. This happens entirely on the device; nothing is sent to us or to any third party.
Data retention and deletion
Because we hold no data about you or your child, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on any server. All locally saved progress can be removed by using "reset progress" in the parent settings or by uninstalling the app.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app ever changes what data is handled (for example, adding optional cloud backup), we will update this policy first, change the effective date above, and describe the change clearly before it takes effect. The current version of this policy is always available at the URL where you are reading it.
